The LONG BRANCH ICE BOAT AND YACHT CLUB maintains an active fleet in Long Branch, NJ, on the Shrewsbury River. Our members actively fish, cruise, sail, ice boat, skiff race, and build ice boats. We also proudly maintain a collection of historic ice boats, artifacts, and photographs.

The club is busiest during the summer season, but we have an active winter fleet that sails on home ice and travels to compete on “hard water”.
We hold several events such as annual crab and clam feasts, fishing contests, and the famous “Thunder on the The Shrewsbury” which attracts NJ Speed Skiffs and other fast boats from around the country.
