For the fourth year in a row the Long Branch Iceboat and Yacht Club has won the annual Fluke Fishing Contest with the Patten Point Yacht Club.  The competition was for the combined weight of the largest five fish. Club member Keith Meyers, and Mike Field’s boat brought in two of the big ones, including Keith, seen left center, catching the largest, a 7.75 pounder. Michael (right of Keith ) had a 5.99 lb. fish and crew member Irvin “Ali” Alleyne brought in some nice keepers.   Right, the second largest Fluke was caught by club member Victor Procopio, a fish just under 7.5 lbs., seen right with his crew mate Colette.  LBIBYC Commodore Thomas Bray, who won last year’s contest with a 10 pounder, placed this year with a 5.57 lb. fish.  click here to see more fishing results
